Historical Heritage Restoration
In 2021, Hijos de Estévez had the honor of carrying out a special project for the Granada City Hall: the restoration and installation of historical lamps in the emblematic Palace of the Madraza, a 14th-century building of incalculable historical and architectural value.
This project represented a unique technical and artistic challenge, as it involved working with original pieces that are part of Granada's cultural heritage, requiring a delicate balance between historical conservation and technical updating.
Historical Value
The Palace of the Madraza was the first university in Granada, founded in 1349 by King Yusuf I. Its lighting restoration contributes to preserving this important cultural legacy.
Artisanal Techniques
Traditional restoration methods were used combined with modern technology to ensure historical authenticity and energy efficiency.
